Sentro Artista is excited to announce its first group pop-up exhibit Upclose & Natural!
Upclose & Natural draws attention to nature, taking a closer look at its delicate wildness and its gracious fragility that continues to flourish around us. The exhibition highlights a profound appreciation for nature and dives deep into each artist’s personal connection with the environment. Through macrophotography, the artists attempt to explore nature in its entirety, expanding a microcosmic view to unearth its intricacies, and admire its crooks and crevices as much as its wonders.
The exhibit is accompanied by guest visual artists Joseph Hilario, Mylene Quinto and Rico Aunzo, and is anchored by a special live performance from classical guitarist Benito Paulinho.
Featured artists joining us in the exhibit are budding photographers and painters who come from different walks of life, persisting to explore and share their experiences through their artistic practice.
In this exhibition, Sentro Artista strives to challenge stereotypes in the art industry by providing a platform for all visual artists across the Philippines. The gallery aims to create an accessible space for all forms of art, entertaining various mediums such as painting, photography, illustration, handicraft, sound and music to empower growing creatives in the country.
